Information stored on your device
Game progress, settings, notification preferences, achievements, lifeline balances, companion state, and related play history are stored locally on your device. Current builds do not sync this information to a publisher account.
Deleting Weather Wilds removes its local game data. If you delete or replace the device before preserving information through an Apple-provided device backup, the publisher cannot recover that local data.
Apple Weather and place lookup
Weather Wilds does not request or receive your physical location. For game-selected catalog destinations, Apple WeatherKit receives the destination coordinates needed to return live forecast information. Those coordinates describe the game location, not where you are.
When you voluntarily select a coordinate on the home globe, that selected map coordinate may be sent to Apple's geocoding service to classify the place. A point you choose on the globe is distinct from your device's physical location.
Apple processes these requests under its own terms and privacy practices. Weather Wilds displays the required Apple Weather attribution where forecast data appears.
Purchases and entitlements
Apple and RevenueCat process purchase, product, transaction, receipt, anonymous app-user, and entitlement information needed to display products, complete purchases, restore access, and support purchase analytics. The publisher's privacy manifest declares Purchase History as not linked to identity, not used for tracking, and used for App Functionality and Analytics.
Weather Wilds uses required-reason UserDefaults access for app functionality. It does not promise absolute anonymity beyond the behavior of Apple, RevenueCat, the shipping SDKs, and the verified release configuration.
For a purchase or privacy request, support may ask you to manually copy the Customer ID displayed in the app so the relevant RevenueCat record can be located. It is optional support data and is never attached automatically to app diagnostics. Do not send receipts, payment details, passwords, or secrets.
Optional notifications
Daily reminders are scheduled and managed on your device. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in Weather Wilds or iOS Settings.
Feedback, diagnostics, and email
Ordinary feedback can open an authenticated GitHub handoff that you review before posting. GitHub identifies the GitHub account that submits the issue and applies its own privacy policy. Public issues must not contain passwords, contact details, precise locations, purchase information, or other sensitive material.
Optional generated diagnostics are limited to allow-listed build and device-context information such as app version, build number, operating-system version, and device family. They exclude reporter identity, installation or advertising identifiers, purchase data, email, precise gameplay coordinates, and RevenueCat identifiers.
If you email support, your email provider and the recipient's provider process the message and its metadata. BKF Merch LLC uses the support mailbox to receive and reply to requests. No claim is made here about provider retention, backup, deletion, or MFA behavior.
This website and Cloudflare
The public site uses Cloudflare Pages to deliver and protect static files. Cloudflare necessarily processes request metadata used to serve and secure a visit, such as IP address, request path, timing, and technical connection information, under its own privacy policy.
The site code includes no account, server-side form, cookies, analytics script, advertising technology, or tracking pixel, and Cloudflare Web Analytics is disabled for this project. That is different from Cloudflare's infrastructure-level request processing. Cloudflare controls any applicable infrastructure logs and retention under its own policies; BKF Merch LLC does not claim a separate retention period for them.
Tracking, sale, and advertising
Weather Wilds does not use information for cross-app tracking and does not sell personal information. The current shipping implementation does not collect advertising data and its advertising providers are unavailable. Adding a real advertising SDK requires an updated policy and App Store privacy answers before release.
Retention, deletion, and control
Deleting Weather Wilds removes locally stored game data. Apple, RevenueCat, GitHub, Cloudflare, and email providers retain information under their own policies and controls. Requests within the publisher's control can be sent to the privacy contact shown on this page.
Children and distribution
Weather Wilds is a general-audience app and is not specifically directed to children. Children are not prohibited from playing. Before BKF Merch LLC markets the app as child-directed or seeks placement in Apple's Kids Category, it will re-review the app's privacy practices, SDKs, advertising, purchases, parental gates, applicable children's-privacy requirements, and App Store disclosures.
Security and international processing
Reasonable safeguards reduce risk but no internet, device, or provider system can be guaranteed completely secure. Apple, RevenueCat, GitHub, Cloudflare, and email providers may process information in countries where they or their service providers operate, subject to their own legal terms and safeguards.
Changes and contact
The effective date appears at the top of this policy. Material changes will be published here before the revised policy is used for a release.
